michael jackson
dancing the dream───
Since Michael Jackson's death, his legacy has been revered as the King of Pop, for his contributions to the world of music and dance. The things that will always be remembered will be his early years of the hugely popular "Thriller," "Billie Jean," and other household songs, as well as all the drama of his later life. However, what is truly important about one's life is that which is ignored and misconstrued. For example, the songs that seem to really embody Michael's feelings and being are those that are much lesser known: for example, "Heal the World," "Earth Song," and "Childhood."

In Michael Jackson's book "Dancing the Dream," a collection of poems and short essays, Michael shows us a new side of him in which he explores his spirituality and his goal for a better world. He expresses his philosophy on several issues and his great love for children. His shy demeanor in public made it difficult for him to show us who he really was.

But now, we can bypass the media's image, and (too late?) really appreciate the child, the man, the gift he was. Discover Michael Jackson.

He once said, when asked how he wanted to be buried, that he did not wish to be; that he wanted to live forever. Let him live forever in his legacy.
